EUPHEMIA | 5 VARIATIONS

1.) Select any Tabula Rasa based style.
2.) Choose 2 Column/sidebar on left under Page Setup.
3.) Under Presentation, make sure user interaction links are set to display as text, and everything else is set as icons. It should look like this.
4.) !!! This part is very important. Under modules, make sure everything is disabled except: Navigation, Profile (check display default icon, uncheck display name and display website), Custom Text (optional), and Links List (optional). Navigation should be set to appear first, then Profile, then Custom Text or Links List. It should look something like this.
5.) I strongly recommended hitting 'Text' and changing the "Recent Entries" text to "Recent" and the "Member Posts" (if you're using the layout on a community) text to "Members." Otherwise, the navigation may look cluttered.
6.) Please, please save all images to your own server.
7.) Go to Custom CSS and uncheck "use layout's stylesheet."
8.) Paste and save! Codes are linked below.
9.) Credit!

Hey there! You don't need to answer this if you don't want (I'm working on figuring it out myself), but I'm curious: if I wanted to have a list of most popular tags on the sidebar as well, how would I go about editing that? For instance, I know that to mess with the link list, you more or less just mess with the stuff designated ".module-list-item". Since I basically suck at CSS, I don't really know what the designation for messing with tags would be, or even how I could figure such a thing out. Sorry if this question doesn't make a great deal of sense... I don't have any kind of real formal training in the matter so it's difficult to express what I'm asking about.

Hey, we're looking to use your Euphemia Dark and we don't want to use your icons/images for it -- i mean, we do, but we want them uploaded but we can't find a good way to find them and download them beyond picking them out of the code, and so on. Is there a place we could download them separate for uploading and a way to change the CSS?

I'm pretty CSS dumb, but I don't want to leech off your photobucket either!

Hi! I'm typing this from my phone and about to go to bed, but I wanted to go ahead and reply because I was afraid I'd forget tomorrow.

If you click on the code and then do a CTRL + F (or CMD + F on a Mac) then you can search for the word photobucket and find links for all the images. Then go to the link, save the image, and upload, and replace my direct URL with yours as you go along!

If this is too confusing or whatever, I'll be happy to post the images separately so you can quickly download (and I'll tell you which URL is associated with which image) that way. It's no problem, but you'd probably have to wait until sometime tomorrow evening. Just shoot me another reply and let me know what works best for you!

Hopefully this comment makes sense because I'm half asleep haha.

hello! firstly, thank you so much for posting these! i used euphemia light on a comm i am setting up and had a few questions about the style. i'm having just a few problems with it and wondered if you might know more.

a) there's no header posting on the top-most post on the recent entries page.
b) the sidebar links are all set to fade out when they're hovered over, and their final color is the same grey as the sidebar? i can't tell if that's by design or not, but i was wondering how to stop that from happening; i like them fading as part of the hover transition, but not that they become the same color as the sidebar. is there a way to have them end on a darker grey?

ah, i figured it out (sort of). so, i think the header (the log-in header, automatically slotted in by dw) is posting over the header itself, as well as the top of the layout. is there something in the code that would start the layout beneath the dw log-in header? is there a chance that's missing from the code for euphemia light or i might've accidentally deleted it?
